Dr. Philip Perdue

Dr. Philip Perdue is a proud native of Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double majored in Peace, War, and Defense and Political Science. During his four years at UNC, he also competed as a varsity swimmer and served as team captain.

Dr. Perdue then returned to Greenville to attend East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine, earning his doctor of dental medicine degree in May 2025. During his time at ECU, he was honored with the Future Leader in General Dentistry award by the Academy of General Dentistry, recognizing his dedication and potential in the field.

Following dental school, Dr. Perdue completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. During his residency, he received training in a wide range of disciplines, including dental implants, bone grafting, molar endodontics, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

One of the most meaningful parts of his residency was the opportunity to serve the nation’s veterans and give back to a patient population that has sacrificed so much for others. During this time, Dr. Perdue also volunteered at the CARE Clinic, a free extraction clinic for patients who cannot afford routine dental treatment.

Dr. Perdue is excited to bring the treatment philosophies he developed at the VA into private practice, with a focus on comprehensive care that treats the whole patient. He is thrilled to join the team at Wilson Family Dental, where he looks forward to serving patients with compassion, excellence, and personalized attention.

Outside of the office, Dr. Perdue enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two energetic dogs, Goldie and Rosie.
